Do you have to pay for your hearing service dog on an airplane?
Do I have to pay to bring my service dog onto the airplane with me? I am asking this, because I have some of my family living in another state. I would like to bring my dog with me while I go visit them.
Would I have to pay a fee for the service dog to travel with me?

Under U.S. Federal law (the Air Carrier Access Act), airlines are not permitted to charge for service animals unless the plane is full and the dog is too large to fit in the owner’s foot space. If both things are true, then they may charge the owner for a second seat.
